Seasonal Snapshot 2015 - Stampin' UP Artisan Blog Hop

Welcome back to the Stampin' UP Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!
We are just finishing on our October 2015 box from Stampin' UP.
This box was FULL of super fun holiday products
from the NEW Stampin' UP Holiday Catalog!!!!!
I am so blessed that I get to create with these amazing products and share with you all here! Remember that every Thursday of each week, all 13 of us from all over the world will post on our blogs an inspiring project for you! Be sure to get Google Translate so that you can read in your language all about how they created their projects too. Now on to first October project....Are you ready to stay awhile and soak in all the Project Life® by Stampin' UP® Seasonal Snapshot 2015 Collection goodness? Everyone on the team this week is using it as well in many different AMAZING ways!
Here is where I started....Project Life App. Yes, you read that correct. As a lucky iPhone user, I have the App and love it! I downloaded the same Seasonal Snaphot 2015 Collection and created a total of 9 pages from our recent family vacation/visit. You can click on each of them to view larger. I know this is a holiday (School, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas) themed PL Collection but you can see here that I used it for a Fall travel theme! How is that for versatility?

The thing about doing memory keeping on the Project Life App is that you can breeze right thru getting pages done! However, they lack (for me) the freedom to add some creativity into the mix. I love adding a few more layers and little sayings on top of the photos. So here is the challenge....I took the last one above and decided to make it in the real product line of Project Life® by Stampin' UP® Seasonal Snapshot 2015. Can you see how I used the same layout, same photos (printed) and the same cards from the collection but added the wooden elements, a few words and arrow embellishment to take it a step further? Even better, right?

This PL Collection is great for the holidays as well! You can see HERE how I used last year's Seasonal Snapshot for 2014. So you know I had to create more with this year's collection! Here are two fun Halloween pages!

And just one more to be completed! My youngest daughter is going on a field trip next week with her Dad in tow so I thought it would be nice for him to take some photos that I could use on this page. Let's see if he remembers.
I love the Seasonal Snapshot collections and I love that it gets me into memory keeping year after year! I will be making some Thanksgiving and Christmas pages for sure!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope this inspires you!

Fancy Friday - Fabulous Fall Challenge!

Welcome to the FANCY FRIDAY BLOG HOP
for FABULOUS FALL challenge!
My fancy friends and I are BACK! We loved working with each other so much that we decided to continue on with an all new blog hop to inspire you in fun new ways! Each month on the last Friday, we will bring to you new challenges of all kinds (color, sketch, stamp focus, etc) that you can even participate in!  Use #fancyfriday with your challenge project!

This month we are having fun with a Fall theme! Yesterday was the first day of Fall too! I actually made this card for a pretty swanky card swap recently. I am loving the trendy white and creams of the Fall season and this inspired me to create this card.
The acorn punch is a must have in the Holiday Catalog! Here I stamped the Acorny Thank You Stamp set with Crumb Cake on Very Vanilla cardstock. Then I punched the acorn tops with the Glimmer Paper in Gold, Silver and Dazzling Diamonds. The background is done with the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder that I just added some spray of Basic Gray ink with my Aqua Painter. The greeting is from the Sparkly Seasons Stamp Set and I thought it worked well with all the glitter on this card.

Thanks for stopping by our Fancy Friday Blog Hop! I hope this inspires you!

Hello to the First Day of Fall! I recently got back from a family trip to Michigan where the weather is getting a little cooler for hoodies, leaves are changing and the acorns are falling. It put me right in the mood to create for Fall! With that inspiration and some new Stampin' UP products from the Holiday Catalog, I create this little card and package.

Hold the fort! I even made a short video showing you how to make the spritzed leaves.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope this inspires you!

A Little Something Apple - Stampin' UP Artisan Blog Hop

Welcome back to the Stampin' UP Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!
We are in the middle of our September 2015 box from Stampin' UP.
This box was FULL of super fun holiday products
from the NEW Stampin' UP Holiday Catalog!!!!!
I absolutely love this catalog!!!!!

We were to use the Square Pillow Box Thinlits Dies, the A Little Something stamp set or the Cheer All Year stamp set for this week's project! I have to say...I LUV THIS BUNDLE!

If you remember this POST back from last year, you'll remember that I love apples and the FALL apple picking season!  I immediately saw an apple in this Pillow Box and had to give it a shot. Not only did I do a Real Red apple, but why not a green with Cucumber Crush , a yellow with Crushed Curry and a reddish orange with Tangerine Tango. All are sponged with Real Red for added dimension. I filled them with classic chewy caramel pieces. I love that you can see them thru the vellum cardstock window.

Here are some tutorials to follow and make your own pillow box apples!
**To make the pillow box apple window follow this step by step tutorial.

**To make the slit for the apple stem follow this step by step tutorial.

**To make the apple seeds, follow HERE to see how to make them.

Now add your seeds to the front, stamp a matching color tag with the A Little Something Stamp set, a Basic Black Baker's Twine bow and your done!

Are you still reading at this point? Well if you are...WAIT! To sweeten this super long post, what about some Blog Candy like the "A Little Something" stamp set?

Sweet Hauntings - Stampin' UP Artisan Blog Hop

Welcome back to the Stampin' UP Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!
We are just brewing up something sweet with our September 2015 box from Stampin' UP! This box was FULL of super fun holiday products
from the NEW Stampin' UP Holiday Catalog!!!!!
I absolutely love this catalog!!!!!
I am so blessed that I get to create with these amazing products and share with you all here! Remember that every Thursday of each week, all 13 of us from all over the world will post on our blogs an inspiring project for you! Be sure to get Google Translate so that you can read in your language all about how they created their projects too. Now on to my second project for September....

This week we are showcasing this Holiday Catalog stamp set called Sweet Hauntings and the Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper. Lots of spooky sweetness will take place along the blog hop for sure!
The stamp set has this funny tag in it and I thought why not fill a jar with chocolate to go with it. I could have a little mid day treat and a Halloween decor on my office desk!
I took a wide mouth mason jar and added a door knob to the top of the lid. A little crafty DIY on the topper...Use Crystal Effects to glue the cap to the lid. Let dry for a few hours. I added a 2 1/2" circle punch of the Black Glimmer Paper to the lid first, then tapped a hole into the lid with a small screwdriver all the way thru the metal and paper. I attached a silver cabinet door knob with a smaller screw thru the hole. (a later thought was to get a crystal one)
To add the Designer Series Paper to the jar, use Tape and Tear Adhesive. More Glimmer paper lined to the top and bottom. The Into the Woods 3/8" Cotton Ribbon in Rich Razzleberry made the perfect bow and a punch of color!
To change the color of the Spider Web Doilies, just flip over to the white side and using the Classic ink (Rich Razzleberry here) with a sponge dauber to color it. This gives you even more options with this embellishment!
I wanted to play with this stamp set some more so I created a card too. The watercolor paper is colored with the Rich Razzleberry ink and Aqua Painter. I then used the rectangle framelit from the Seasonal Frame Thinlits Dies to cut it out. One more use for the rectangle thinlit...see the outline of Black Glimmer paper? I took a piece of it slightly larger than the thinlit and then cut it out to create just a frame of the Glimmer paper. It fits the watercolor piece perfectly. Less waste of this yummy glittery fun for other projects! The bottles were colored in with Cucumber Crush and they really pop against the background!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope this inspires you!
