Fancy Friday Blog Hop - Just Because

Welcome back to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop!
My fancy friends and I are back with some NEW fancy friends too! We loved working with each other so much that we decided to continue on with an all new blog hop to inspire you in fun new ways! These are a group of past and current Artisans that have become fast friends thru the Artisan journey. Glad to have you here! We have 14 of us this month and many new faces...my dream team of Artisans!
Each month on the last Friday, we will bring to you new challenges of all kinds (color, sketch, stamp focus, etc)! This month we are going with a simple theme: Just Because...use anything you want either new OR newly retired. Just because you like it, just because you need a challenge, just because you needed a card ASAP to send....
Stampin UP!'s once a year Sale-a-bration is in full swing right now! When you purchase $50.00 (before shipping and tax), you get a free item of your choice from the special selection brochure! Each year, I am amazd by the free stuff you can get! This stamp set called So Very Much was my first pick. I love the script font and the additional sayings that come with it.
So my "just because" was because I was participating in a Sale-a-bration swap at my sidelines team meeting recently which gave me the chance to create with this stamp set.
AND it gave me the opportunity to share here with all of you and inspire you to get this fabulous stamp set for free while you can!
AND I made up quite a few of these to have on hand!
This is pretty much a beginner's card. All stamping! I used one of my favorite stamp sets from the Annual Catalog called Garden in Bloom on here as well. The color combo is Smoky Slate, Basic Gray, Peekaboo Peach, Pear Pizzazz and Crushed Curry. To soften, I did stamp off some of the images to create a lighter color. I added Crushed Curry Baker's Twine and some of those Sprinkles Embellishments in the center of the main flower.

Thanks for stopping by my post for the Fancy Friday blog hop!

Welcome to The Crafty Carrot Collective Blog Hop! A selection of former Stampin' UP! Artisans from all over the world got together to form this interactive rewards program where you can learn and participate with us each month! Today we are bringing you some sneak peaks into what our February month in action will bring in advance so you can purchase the stamp set Suite Sentiments knowing you are going to get plenty of ideas and have fun creating with all of us!
The Crafty Carrot Collective

This stamp set has got to one of the most versatile stamp sets I have ever created with! The ladies will be sharing many ideas with this stamp set on this hop!
With Valentine's coming up in just a few weeks, I focused on using the "Love is in the Air Mail" greeting. Using the Tasty Treats Specialty DSP and the Peekaboo Peach Ruffled Ribbon from our optional shopping supply list, I made this cute little notecard. Extras used are the Enamel Shapes Hearts and Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.
The next card and gift bag, I created for a Valentine's gift for my guy. The "Best Guy Ever" image is perfect for birthday and Father's Day so why not Valentine's, right?
Using more of the Tasty Treats Specialty DSP, Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies, Sweet and Sassy Framelits Dies and Whisper White Baker's Twine.
Gift bag is super easy to make with all the same products I used.
Think I will get some pistachios (my guy's favorite) and fill this Petite Cafe Gift Bag full.

Here is how our program works... during the month of January you purchase the Suite Sentiments stamp set (or product of equal or greater value) from a participating Crafty Carrot Collective demonstrator using the host code.  Then, in February, you will receive the program completely FREE!

Love is in the Air with the Creation Station Blog Hop

I am back this month with the Creation Station Design Blog Hop! I was beyond thrilled to join this group of talented women again after a little needed holiday break. We plan to inspire you each month with Stampin' UP! creative top of the line projects with a theme from all around the globe! We hope that you hop thru each blog and leave comments as we all love to hear praise about our creations!

This month our theme was "Love is in the Air, Love is Everywhere" but not limit it to Valentine's Day but just a general show of love any day. This thought of "love in the air" brought me to use the Lift Me Up Stamp Set and Up and Away Thinlits Dies Bundle #144712 from the NEW Occasions Catalog. Both of these cards are perfect for a stamp a stack card class and a great way to showcase this bundle to your customers!

This first card incorporated lots of stamping using the Lift Me Up Stamp Set. The hot air balloons are done with Pool Party, Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo and Bermuda Bay Classic Inks. The lighter pink one is a "stamped off" version with Flirty Flamingo as well as the Bermuda Bay one. "Stamped off" means to ink your stamp image up and then stamp once off on a scrap piece of paper. This will make the ink appear lighter when stamped again immediately on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock. All of the hot air balloons are die cut out with the new Up and Away Thinlits Dies. Smoky Slate Classic Ink is use on the clouds and greetings. That DSP layer is a piece of the Pool Party diagonal stripes from the A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper Stack.
My next card is so simple and perfect for a stamp a stack class. I stamped the small hot air balloon in Smoky Slate Classic Ink directly on top of the Smoky Slate Cardstock base in a random pattern. Then I die cut the letters X and O with Flirty Flamingo, Whisper White, Pool Party and Peekaboo Peach Cardstock. The Large Letter Framelit Dies make this card so easy to XOXO (love). I stamped the greeting in Flirty Flamingo Classic Ink and added to the middle of the letters. The Bermuda Bay Baker's Twine bow adds a pop of color and whimsy. Just a nice way to say it with love....

Weather Together with the Crafty Carrot Co Blog Hop

Welcome to The Crafty Carrot Collective Blog Hop! A selection of current Stampin' UP! Artisans from all over the world got together to form this interactive rewards program where you can learn and participate with us each month! Today we are bringing you some sneak peaks into what our first month in action will bring!
The Crafty Carrot Collective
Here is my little punch art notecards for today's hop to entice you to join in!
I used a watercolor technique to create the Daffodil Delight washed paper for the sun and the Flirty Flamingo washed paper for parasol and hearts. I will be sharing that technique in a tutorial and live FB video during our third week. The Weather Together Stamp Set has the greatest font and sayings. Here I used them with Archival Basic Black Ink.
The sun was made with the 1 1/2" Circle Punch and the Dual Banner Punch. Hearts and clouds come from the Umbrella Weather Framelits Dies.
A little fancy parasol for any raining day will brighten your day! I used a Watermelon Wonder from the In Color Doilies to create the lace edges. The raindrops are in the Umbrella Weather Framelits Dies in Silver Foil and they add a bit of shine.
Come follow us on Facebook and during the month of January, we are giving a whole 30 days of free tutorials and live classes for FREE! Tell your crafty stampin' friends about it too!
