Fancy Friday - Color Refresh

Welcome back to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop!
My fancy friends and I are back together again!!! We loved working with each other so much that we decided to continue on with a blog hop to inspire you in fun new ways each month! These are a group of past and current Stamping' UP Artisans that have become fast friends thru the amazing Artisan journey. Glad to have you here! We have 14 of us (some fresh NEW faces too) this month so don't miss a one!

Each month on the last Friday, we will bring to you new challenges of all kinds! (color, sketch, stamp focus, etc) This month's challenge is to use NEW or RETURNING color favorites from the Color Fresh. Look at all those yummy colors!
I decided to use quite a few new (and favorite) ones
mixed with a returning one and staying strong classic one.
I could not help myself!
I have been wanting a good reason to pull out the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and coordinating Bouquet Bunch Framelits Dies as well as the new Highland Heather color. All those colors and flowers are the perfect mix for this challenge.
Couple of things on this card to note:
I used two pieces of the Gray Granite cardstock embossed with the Occasions carryover Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Adds an unusual layering idea. I added a watercolor wash of Highland Heather on the piece of Shimmery White. That color is so pretty and soft. I used the always unused very light birch wood pattern from the Wood Textures DSP stack. Go figure? Use it people, you will thank me later.
Thanks for stopping by my post for the Fancy Friday blog hop!

Crafty Carrot Co Blog Hop with En Route

Hello friends and welcome to The Crafty Carrot Collective Blog Hop! We are a selection of group of Stampin' UP! demonstrators and Artisans from all over the world that got together to form this interactive program where you can learn and participate with us each month!
Let us get right to this month's Crafty Carrot Co blog hop where we share some projects featuring the En Route Stamp set for our July 2018 interactive rewards program. We are also using the products from the Best Route suite in the Annual Catalog!  But wait there is more next month.....a BONUS tutorial from my sweet friend and former Stampin' UP Artisan Sue Plote from the US! Be sure to hop along to see her sneak peak! IT IS AMAZING!
My first thought when I saw this suite of products was how can I turn this feminine and OH MY GOSH that bicycle pattern is adorable! I think I successful...
I colored the NEW White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon with Pineapple Punch ink. I also used the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and matching BouquetBunch Framelit to pull off the feminine look I was going for. What do you think?
And then a went all travel mode by making this awesome little notecard. Notice the clouds? I used the Pattern Party Decorative Masks and NEW Big Shot Embossing mats to make this. I can ONLY recommend this with the clouds because when I tested the other masks, this did NOT work. I did have to make the sandwich a little thicker to get the clouds to emboss. This has NOT been tested at Stampin' UP so "use at own risk", friends! You could totally sponge the clouds or add Balmy Blue to White Embossing Paste too.
Are you inspired yet to join us? Promise that it is going to be educational and informational but so stinking FUN! Great for customers AND current Stampin' UP! demonstrators! You can get lots of ideas for your classes at a small price and less time designing!
