Fancy Friday - Designer Series Paper LOVE

Welcome back to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop!
My fancy friends and I loved working with each other on the Artisan Design Teams so much that we decided to continue on with a blog hop to inspire you in fun new ways each month! These are a group of past and current Stamping' UP Artisans that have become fast friends thru the amazing Artisan journey.
Glad to have you here! We have 13 of us this time so don't miss a one!

Each month on the last Friday, we will bring to you new challenges of all kinds! (color, sketch, stamp focus, etc) This month's challenge we were to create a project using Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper. Not too hard of a challenge with all the DSP we have available to us in the catalogs! You will see soon to be retired DSP and even some brand new DSP on our hop this month!

I decided to use some retiring DSP from the 2018-2019 Stampin'Up! Annual Catalog. These papers are available until June 3rd so get them while you can! (wood textures has sold out already!) I wanted to revisit some of the DSP I have on hand and give them some playtime before I hoard it with my other papers.
For my first card, I used the lovely Petal Promenade DSP. It has photographic floral, marble and textured designs. I specifically focused on using the one pattern above on right. LOTS of fussy cutting on the line of flowers at the bottom of the paper! I also used the Subtle Embossing Folder, Very Vanilla Polka Doe Ribbon, Flowering Desert Stamp Set, Gingham Gala Sequins with Beautiful Layers and Frosted Bouquet Dies.

I have one more for you! I was inspired by something I saw on HGTV!

For my second card, I used a mix of the Wood Textures DSP and the Graceful Glass Vellum. I wanted to make it look like a modern farmhouse stain glass window or decor piece. I backed the vellum piece on Whisper White. I also used the Sunshine Sayings Stamp Set, the Boxwood Wreath Embellishments, and 1/8" Pineapple Punch Ribbon.
Hope you like my cards for Fancy Friday this month!

A Paper Pumpkin Thing "Hugs from Shelli" Blog Hop

Welcome to the A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop!
A group of talented and creative Stampin' UP! Demonstrators have come together to showcase some alternative projects of the Paper Pumpkin Monthly Kit program! This month was a kit designed with Stampin' UP! Cofounder and Board Chair Shelli Gardner!
I am so excited to be joining this special hop this month! I adore this kit for many reasons. First I was honored to be involved in the creative process of this very special kit. Since I work at Stampin' Up! in their Concept Art department (I am also a demonstrator), we are selected to help the Paper Pumpkin Department with creating the kits. Another reason is that I got to work with the talented designer Jen and the very sweet Shelli Gardner. We did have some guidelines to follow but this is 100% Shelli's style! I think I had to pinch myself a couple of times during the process! And lastly, this kit is BEAUTIFUL! I also got to create the alternates for this kit shown below. It coordinates with the Bird Ballard Suite from the 2019-2020 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog! (coming out June 4th)
I wanted to do a few new and simple alternates with the kit just for this hop!
I hope you like them! I had fun creating with this kit again!
Here is my first card.
Those floral petal pink flowers are so so lovely! I cut the card front off, trimmed a little off and added it to a A2 card base of Natural Ivory (retired but still a favorite of mine). I also used the Old Olive Linen Thread from the 2019 Occasions Catalog, a piece of Soft Seafoam Cardstock and Old Olive and Early Espresso Classic Inks.
Here is my second card.
Again I cut the card front off, trimmed a little off and added it to a A2 card base of Natural White (also retired but still a favorite of mine). I also used the Old Olive Linen Thread from the 2019 Occasions Catalog, a piece of Soft Seafoam Cardstock and Old Olive and Early Espresso Classic Inks.

Here is my third card.
I took the Very Vanilla back piece from my first card and stamp the feather in the stamp set in Old Olive and making a pattern. Tore a piece of Crumb Cake and added it to that layer then placed in on a Soft Seafoam A2 card base. I LOVE this Petal Pink twine in the kit! I remember Shelli asking for this specific type of twine because it had texture. Again the greeting was stamped in Old Olive and Early Espresso Classic Inks.

While they are clearly wonderful notecards as designed, I like the idea of stepping them up to a full size card and adding some supplies that I had on hand.

Thanks for stopping by!

Crafty Carrot Co Blog Hop with Broadway Birthday

Hello friends and welcome to The Crafty Carrot Collective Blog Hop! We are Stampin' UP! demonstrators and Artisans from around the world that got together to form this interactive program where you can learn and participate with us each month! We always have fun stamping, learning and sharing!

Let us get right to this month's Crafty Carrot Co blog hop where we are sharing some projects featuring the Broadway Birthday Stamp set for our June 2019 interactive rewards program.

Many of you may have this stamp set when it released in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. It was part of a birthday suite of products that had matching Broadway Lights Dies, Designer Series Paper, Candle Embellishments, and Basic Black Ribbon. It also was featured on the July 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit. SO we are bringing it back since Stampin' Up! carried it over to the new Annual Catalog and show you some different ways to use the stamp set! Sound exciting? We think so!
This is a card I made for a birthday swap back in November. I just made a few changes and used the two in-colors that will be gone soon...Powder Pink and Lemon Lime Twist.
