Welcome back to the Stampin' UP Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!
We are just starting on our September 2015 box from Stampin' UP. This box was FULL of super fun holiday products from the NEW Stampin' UP Holiday Catalog!!!!!
I absolutely love this catalog!!!!!
I am so blessed that I get to create with these amazing products and share with you all here! Remember that every Thursday of each week, all 13 of us from all over the world will post on our blogs an inspiring project for you! Be sure to get Google Translate so that you can read in your language all about how they created their projects too.
Now on to my first projects for September using the Howl-o-ween Treat Stamp set and the Boo to You Framelits Dies found on page 49 in the Holiday Catalog....
As soon as I saw this, I immediately fell in love with this owl! I knew I wanted to use him first. (wait til you see what I made with the rest of this bundle - more coming soon here and on the Stampin' UP blog) I embossed my Kraft cardstock with the Woodlands Textured Impressions Embossing Folder first. Then I cut out the owl with the Framelits. I stamped him in Tangelo Twist on Very Vanilla. This is a great way to finish off the inside of the card as well. I added other elements from the NEW Holiday Catalog such as the Into the Woods Elements, Happy Haunting Designer Washi Tape and the greeting from the Cheer All Year Stamp Set.
Completely fun way to say hello to a friend!
So let's make a Halloween version of this card!
I embossed Basic Gray Cardstock instead, added some spooky eyes from the Among the Branches Stamp Set and this time made the owl Rich Razzleberry. Greeting is again from the Cheer All Year Stamp Set and Happy Haunting Designer Washi Tape for a splash of bats!

The inside is finished with the amazing new Glimmer Paper in Black and Boo to You Framelits Dies! See his eyes? Black Glimmer paper punch out with the Owl Builder Punch. Spooky glittery fun!

If you noticed that there are only 13 of us now, my sweet friend Becky made the hard decision not to continue for the next two months on the ADT. She will be actually working as a Concept Artist for Stampin' UP starting in September! SHUT UP! I know! I am beyond excited for her! I will miss her inspiring creations on the blog hop but I know that I have a friend for life! Love you Becky! Your the best!
Love the window idea. Totally fun.
ReplyDeleteCindy, what you've done with the owl is just too cute! My sister and I were working with him yesterday, trying to come up with non-Halloween ideas - thank you!
