If you remember this POST back from last year, you'll remember that I love apples and the FALL apple picking season! I immediately saw an apple in this Pillow Box and had to give it a shot. Not only did I do a Real Red apple, but why not a green with Cucumber Crush , a yellow with Crushed Curry and a reddish orange with Tangerine Tango. All are sponged with Real Red for added dimension. I filled them with classic chewy caramel pieces. I love that you can see them thru the vellum cardstock window.
Here are some tutorials to follow and make your own pillow box apples!
**To make the pillow box apple window follow this step by step tutorial.
**To make the slit for the apple stem follow this step by step tutorial.
**To make the apple seeds, follow HERE to see how to make them.
Now add your seeds to the front, stamp a matching color tag with the A Little Something Stamp set, a Basic Black Baker's Twine bow and your done!
Are you still reading at this point? Well if you are...WAIT! To sweeten this super long post, what about some Blog Candy like the "A Little Something" stamp set?
