Fancy Friday - Never Enough Thanks!

Welcome back to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop!
My fancy friends and I are back with some NEW fancy friends too! We loved working with each other so much that we decided to continue on with an all new blog hop to inspire you in fun new ways! Then a few of us had to take a break so we invited some new FANCY friends to join us and make the blog hop a little longer for your enjoyment! These are a group of past and current Artisans that have become fast friends thru the Artisan journey.
Each month on the last Friday, we will bring to you new challenges of all kinds (color, sketch, stamp focus, etc)! This month our challenge was "Never enough thanks". Make a thank you card or two and then actually mail it! Explain who and why. #imbringingthankyousback
With the birthday cards movement happening, let us not forget to thank the people in our lives too! I could send thousands of cards out for this kind of challenge. So many people to thank for just being a friend, saying a kind word, leaving an encouraging comment, helping with a task and way more. Getting that card via snail card would be so nice, right?
With my projects today, I am sharing a sneak peak into the NEW Stampin' UP products from the 2016-2017 Annual Catalog! I also challenged myself to use the NEW 2016-2018 In-Colors and this NEW paper called Playful Palette Designer Series Paper Stack. One the first card, I used just strips of the DSP for the punch of colors that are Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum and Emerald Envy. All new colors! I did add a piece of paper from the Neutral DSP Collection with the words pattern. The embossed flower is from the NEW Floral Affection TIEF. I added a little piece of washi tape from the NEW Playful Palette Designer Washi Pack. The blocked THANK is a all NEW stamp set called Labeler Alphabet and it is a "MUST HAVE IT" item! The script YOU is the Hello You Thinlits.
Now using all those same products in the first card, I made this second card. I used a larger piece of the papers, cut out the embossed flower from the TIEF in Peekaboo Peach and sponged it with same ink color. I took the Hello You Thinlits to make the swirls behind the flower. That is two yous and a hello!
So part of this challenge was to mail them and tell who and why. I mailed these to two of my dearest friends because they amaze me and always have my back with love and support during stressful times. They are in the mail and on the way! I hope they know how much I am thankful for them both!

My youngest daughter needed a lot of simple thank you cards recently. I bought these pretty notecards at local store and then she stamped the greeting from the Apple of my Eye Stamp set. Punched out with 1 3/4" circle. Added a Decorative Label punch piece of Watermelon Wonder behind it. See you can add Stampin' UP to anything!
Thanks for stopping by my post for the Fancy Friday blog hop!
Inspire. Create. Share. That's what I love to do.
