You just came from Cathy's blog so WELCOME BACK!!! Thank YOU for following our Artisan Hop! The out-pouring of attention and support has been extremely wonderful!
This scrapbook page was the second Artisan Entry Project that I created and it has a very special place in my heart. This picture of my mom on her wedding day with my grandma is one that I can remember seeing as a child in her wedding album. My grandmother made that green dress by herself for the wedding. It is where I get my "Grandma Green" love of that Old Olive hue. If I could get one project back ever, it would be this one. Lots of love went into making it and it gave me the courage to continue and finish my Artisan submission.
I used SEVERAL products on this page from the 2013 Spring Catalog. I love the Artisan Embellishment Kit, the Print Poetry DSP paper stack, the paper doilies and Flower Trim that were in it. I even did my own handwriting in the journaling part of it. My favorite part is the banner. I sewed them together and then attached it to the page. To do that, you dotto or a tiny bit of snail adhesive the lower half of the banners to a scrap piece long enough. I spaced them out just a bit. Then run thru the sewing machine of the hanging off part of the banners.
