MDS Blog Hop - Decor style!

WELCOME TO THE MDS BLOG HOP!
A bunch of us have joined together to share our passion for digital designing with Stampin' UP's My Digital Studio.  These ladies are SERIOUSLY talented in MDS and I am thrilled to be on this Blog Hop with them! You will find us blog hopping on the 2nd and 4th THURSDAYS of each month!
For the MDS Blog Hop this time, we are sharing some home decor or party decor!
I recently re-organzied my studio/office and added these clipboards to an area in there. What to put on those clipboards? How about a monthly calendar to keep me organized with all my creative commitments?! YES! Off to MDS I go! I used the Calendar feature in the program to create the each month removing the month and year off it. I then added a stamp image of from a download. I even copied, paste in place and then move it over with my cursor a tad bit to make the word appear larger. Then I added an image from a Christmas countdown download for the year 14.
I left the top empty as you can see above. But after I printed it out on Whisper White Cardstock, I added a strip of Designer Series Paper at 1 3/4" across the top. I used the Motley Monsters DSP from the Stampin UP Holiday Catalog for all three months.
Here it is! It is looking way better than before. Just need to figure out what to do with the chalkboard memo boards next! Notice that seasonal stack of blocks?
This is probably one of my most favorite thing that I have ever made with MDS! I made it all on a 8.5x11 page. Sent it to the local photo printer. Cut and glued to pieces of cut wood blocks that I painted black and distressed. SUPER EASY!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope this inspires you to get your MDS program and create something special for your home!

Love this!! What kind of printer did you send it to? Kinkos? Staples?

I printed this straight from my HP printer at home. Save as a jpeg and then print as a 8.5x11 page.
