Stampin Fancy Friday - Shake it Challenge

Welcome to the LAST official Fancy Friday Blog Hop!
Way back in 2014, my fancy friends and I loved working with each other on the Artisan Design Team so much that we decided to continue on with a blog hop to continue to inspire our followers and stay connected in the one thing we love the most! Over the years, we added more Artisans to our group of past and current Stampin' Up! Artisans that have become fast friends thru the amazing Artisan journey.

We're shaking things up this year on the Fancy Friday Design Team! This will be our last official 'blog hop' because we're moving in a new direction! Hence the name change to Stampin Fancy Friday and a new logo!
How it works:
We'll be posting a challenge on the first Friday of every month over on Instagram and Facebook. And then we'll show you our team projects as the month progresses. We can't wait to have you around so when you are inspired by our challenge to join, tag us in or use hashtag #stampinfancyfriday

Go follow on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/stampinfancyfriday/
and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/stampinfancyfriday/

So we are glad to have you here for now!
We have 29 of us this time so don't miss a one! INCREDIBLE HOP!!!

This month's challenge is to create a project that shakes cause we are shaking things up on the Fancy Friday Design Team for 2020! Could be a shaker card, use a tassel on a card, jar of tags, whatever you what to make shake.

Over on the Crafty Carrot Collective Facebook Page, we held a fun FREE sneak peek tutorials featuring our February program called Birthday Collection. We each are apart of the Stampin Fancy Friday design team so we thought we would do one more sneak peak with the stamp set we selected for the Birthday Collection.
I used the Birthday Jubilee Stamp set and Jubilee Dies to make a shaker card. I used the Shaker Domes right in the middle of those Blends colored detailed fiesta dies, threw in some sequins from many offerings, added a Best Dressed Tassel and shook it like a maraca!
Interested in joining us on the Crafty Carrot Collective Birthday Collection? There is still time to join by subscription or purchase from one of us in your market!

Fancy Friday - A Blue Christmas

Welcome back to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop!
My fancy friends and I loved working with each other on the Artisan Design Teams so much that we decided to continue on with a blog hop to inspire you in fun new ways each month! These are a group of past and current Stamping' UP Artisans that have become fast friends thru the amazing Artisan journey.
Glad to have you here! We have 10 of us this time so don't miss a one!

Each month on the last Friday (this month is one week early), we will bring to you new challenges of all kinds! (color, sketch, stamp focus, etc) This month's challenge we were inspired by a "Blue Christmas" theme.
I was so excited to finally use some of my favorite products from the Holiday Catalog! The Still Scenes stamp set and Snow Globe Scenes Dies were some of my favorite samples that I created. Endless possibilities and those dies are a must have! I opted to mix other sentiments from the Memories of Home Stamp set for my card. I love the font and the words work perfectly with the Still Scenes Bundle. Of course, the Feels like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper has those beautiful scenery photographic images in the blue tones to make a background to the die cut scene complete. I could have done so many more cards like these with this simple layout too.

Tips and Techniques:
You don't have to use the Snow Globe Shaker Domes with this bundle at all.
Add Snowfall Accents Puff Paint to the mound from the dies.
Stamp the house image in Night of Navy and then move the color with the Blender Pen.
Add dimensional behind the Vellum globe dome to add depth on card.
Mix your stamp sets! I added the sentiments from the Memories of Home Stamp Set.

My color combination is:
Seaside Spray, Night of Navy, Early Espresso, Gray Granite and Whisper White.

Hope you like my card for Fancy Friday this month!

Inspire. Create. Share. That's what I love to do.

Fancy Friday - Annual Holiday Mixer

Welcome back to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop!
My fancy friends and I loved working with each other on the Artisan Design Teams so much that we decided to continue on with a blog hop to inspire you in fun new ways each month! These are a group of past and current Stamping' UP Artisans that have become fast friends thru the amazing Artisan journey.
Glad to have you here! We have 12 of us this time so don't miss a one!

Each month on the last Friday, we will bring to you new challenges of all kinds! (color, sketch, stamp focus, etc) This month's challenge we were to use something from the Annual catalog and something from the Holiday catalog to create a project.

I finally got some time to create for the Fancy Friday challenge this month! I have been super busy these past few months and always miss the deadline. I also was super happy to get time to use the Harvest Hellos Stamp Set and Apple Builder Punch from the Holiday Catalog. I paired it with the Birch Stamp Set, Neutrals 6x6 DSP and the Magnolia Lane Cork Embellishments from the Annual Catalog. Another interesting mix is the maple leaves in the Gathered Leaves Dies from the Holiday Catalog work well with the maple leaves in the Seasonal Layers Dies from the Annual Catalog. Great way to stretch your dies over two catalogs!

Tips and Techniques:
*Stamp the pumpkins in the color ink you wish then sponge the
same ink all over lightly going past the edges. Punch out.
*Die cut out the maple leaves then sponge Old Olive Ink to distress them.
Crunch them up to add even more textures.
*Love the cork look? Cut those tags up and use just a sliver of it
under the greeting.
*Die your Linen Thread with Blends! I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue
to set the curls in place.

My color combination is:
Old Olive, Early Espresso, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Crumb Cake.

Hope you like my card for Fancy Friday this month!

Inspire. Create. Share. That's what I love to do.

Fancy Friday - New In-Color Fun!

(color, sketch, stamp focus, etc) This month's challenge we were to create a brand new color combination using at least one of the New 2019-2021 In-Colors or use all of them!
My color combination is:
Terracotta Tile, Pretty Peacock, Granny Apple Green and Petal Pink
I stamped the flower and leaf image with the To a Wild Rose stamp set in Versamark on Shimmer White Cardstock and then heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. I used my Aqua Painter to color in the images and I was not worried about staying in the lines either. I mixed the Pretty Peacock and Granny Apple Green on the leaves. Once I stamped the greeting Blessed in Pretty Peacock, I then fussy cut it out. It took patience and some time to carefully cut around the word but I love some it looks.

Hope you like my card for Fancy Friday this month!

Fancy Friday - Designer Series Paper LOVE

Welcome back to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop!
My fancy friends and I loved working with each other on the Artisan Design Teams so much that we decided to continue on with a blog hop to inspire you in fun new ways each month! These are a group of past and current Stamping' UP Artisans that have become fast friends thru the amazing Artisan journey.
Glad to have you here! We have 13 of us this time so don't miss a one!

Each month on the last Friday, we will bring to you new challenges of all kinds! (color, sketch, stamp focus, etc) This month's challenge we were to create a project using Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper. Not too hard of a challenge with all the DSP we have available to us in the catalogs! You will see soon to be retired DSP and even some brand new DSP on our hop this month!

I decided to use some retiring DSP from the 2018-2019 Stampin'Up! Annual Catalog. These papers are available until June 3rd so get them while you can! (wood textures has sold out already!) I wanted to revisit some of the DSP I have on hand and give them some playtime before I hoard it with my other papers.
For my first card, I used the lovely Petal Promenade DSP. It has photographic floral, marble and textured designs. I specifically focused on using the one pattern above on right. LOTS of fussy cutting on the line of flowers at the bottom of the paper! I also used the Subtle Embossing Folder, Very Vanilla Polka Doe Ribbon, Flowering Desert Stamp Set, Gingham Gala Sequins with Beautiful Layers and Frosted Bouquet Dies.

I have one more for you! I was inspired by something I saw on HGTV!

For my second card, I used a mix of the Wood Textures DSP and the Graceful Glass Vellum. I wanted to make it look like a modern farmhouse stain glass window or decor piece. I backed the vellum piece on Whisper White. I also used the Sunshine Sayings Stamp Set, the Boxwood Wreath Embellishments, and 1/8" Pineapple Punch Ribbon.
Hope you like my cards for Fancy Friday this month!

We have 18 of us this time so don't miss a one!

Each month on the last Friday, we will bring to you new challenges of all kinds! (color, sketch, stamp focus, etc) This month's challenge we were to CASE (copy and share everything) a sample from the Occasions Catalog! The layout on this card from page 38 really stood out to me. I love the three panels and the focus slightly to the right! I have been holding out to ink up that Flowering Desert Stamp set and this was the perfect time to pull it out and play. Colors are Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Tranquil Tide, Granny Apple Green. Lots of fussy cutting!
Hope you like my card for Fancy Friday this month!

Brights 6 x 6 Pattern DSP (Coastal Cabana)
