Made for Monday

Hello everyone! This is super exciting to me!! After hearing all about Stampin Up convention from those who went, I am pumped up to get this blog really going! CEO Shelli Gardner from Stampin Up is even starting up her own personal blog today too!!! Then seeing how Kristina Werner's blog has taken off, makes me want to do the same with my blog. I wish! I hope!

So here is my 1st "Made for Monday". Actually, I made some of these last month for my SIL Lois and I just loved the card so I made some more this weekend. Just a "thanks" for checking out my first real bloggin day!

Here we go.....

I am so excited to get this blog really going. I went thru many of my favorite bloggers and got ideas on how to run this smoothly for each week. I came up with this weekly schedule: (i need a plan to stick to this) Monday - Made for Monday - what ever I made over the weekend to share Tuesday - Disney tips - share some of my great tips from my trips Wednesday - Wacky Wednesday - could be a challenge, a 3-D item or something fun! Thursday - Disney tips - more tip sharing and maybe a Disney scrapbook page! Friday - Festive Friday - something for the coming holiday season I will post a PFN (personal family note) of things going on in my life with my family to share. Like first day of school pictures which happen on Monday! Yikes! Yes, already! I also will post about my local workshops, a monthly card kit - available to purchase and more! Almost there!

Wow, I got nominated for my blog from Kerin so now I am so excited to get this new style blog really going. Thank you so much Kerin! Have fun at convention! 8 more days to go! Just wait til you see what I have made in the past few weeks. I have made up a daily blog schedule and will post more on this later next weekend. Big changes in the works!

Well, after some thought about this blog site I have decided to make some changes to how I approach this blogging thing. Right now my time is spent on work and my remaining summer with my girls til school starts in August. So starting August 4th, I will be back in full speed! I want to add my love of my family and my love of Disney to this site for all of my friends and family to view. So have many magical days til then! Cindy

Graduation money holders

Hello! Here are the money holders that I gave as graduation cards for our grads Jessica and Alyson. I cased them from Jill on her website Jill's Card Creations . I love her creativity!

I used the following to create my version with:

Basic gray, real red, black and whisper white cardstock

Black and Basic gray classic ink pads

Black gingham ribbon

It can hold money or checks. Love this idea for a birthday gift as well. See you next time!

A Wedding card!

Things are getting back to normal and I have been getting back to stamping. I do not know what happened to May - too much going on. I am going to showing the things that I have done over the past few months as well. I promise to try to post as much as I can so checkback!

This was a card that I made for a wedding. The couple are huge Bulldog fans and they met at a UGA game. I really love the elegance of this card!

Some gift bags I made!

Hello everyone!

This is a gift bag toppers I made for a friend who bought my flower pot pen set as a teacher's gift. You use one 81/2" x 11"sheet of white card stock folded in half. Then place near top handles and make small slits on outside of handles. Then cut out a 1/4" slit so that the folded card goes over the handles. Quick and easy and it looks cute!

I used: paper: Whisper white and regal rose Stamps: Pick a petal and For a friend Ink: Pretty in Pink, Orchid Opulence, Regal Rose Accessories: Purple Gingham Ribbon

The second bag was done in Only Orange, Real Red and Summer Sun with red gingham ribbon.
