Artisan Wednesday Wow - Peachy Keen Georgia!

Welcome back to Artisan Wednesday WOW! Our hop this month will be full of inspiration from the new 2014 Occasions Catalog! Be sure to come back each week!
Today, you just came from Cathy Caines and next is Connie Collins, but before you come check out my Peachy Keen card and brag book! Cathy mentioned something about an e-cutter last week, so I am bringing it to ya this week!

I got an e-cutter FINALLY! Then on a stampin/scrapin weekend away with friends, I was able to get it out of the box and start playin with it! It is SOOOO FUN! My brain just started running with ideas! I followed a few fellow Artisan's e-cutter videos and BOOM I had it! I added the MDS Nifty Fifty state punch of Georgia to my library first. Then I was able to enlarge the punch to around 4". I cut it out of Whisper White cardstock.  You could do this with any state, but Georgia fit the "peachy" part well.
Here is something I found out, the Chervon Bordor Punch is the same as the Essential Wooden Elements chevron pieces. I just had to trim with my paper snips a bit to get the exact length. I wish you could get more of those wooden chevron pieces in bulk! LOVE THEM!

BONUS PROJECT:
As soon as I saw this stamp set Peachy Keen, I pictured this little brag book for a little summer adventure coming up. I used my sweet friend Corinne's tutorial to make the clear envelope brag book. You can see her tutorial HERE. Super easy to make and such a great idea for a quick mini scrapbook! I have used it SEVERAL times!
I also stamped a bunch of extras from the Peachy Keen stamp set and cut them out. Now when we get back from our trip later this year, I can add some elements and journaling to the printed photos. Did you see that I cut the Essential Wooden Element? I cut the banner piece in half! Use the craft scissors or heavy duty scissors to cut. I put some Chocolate Chip Marker on the end to make it look like it was never cut.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope this inspires you!
I promise the e-cutter is worth it and not as scary as it seems!

Oh my goodness, I never even thought about the connection between that fun stamp and the state that grows the most fabulous peaches in the world!!! Give me a Georgia peach any day! "Sweet" card!
