Birthday Surprise - Stampin' UP Artisan Blog Hop

Welcome back to the Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!
We are just starting on our April 2015 box from Stampin' UP. This box was full of more brand NEW products from the Stampin' UP Occasions Catalog and some Annual Catalog products as well! This month, we Artisans have select a certain product to showcase each week. You will see one product created 16 different ways so get ready to be inspired to buy and use that product! Every Thursday of each week, all 16 of us from all over the world will post on our blogs an inspiring project for you! Be sure to get Google Translate so that you can read in your language all about how they created their projects too. Now on to my project!
This week, we are showcasing a really great stamp set called Birthday Surprise. You can find it on page 52 in the Stampin' UP Annual Catalog. Did you miss this one? I sure did! I also pulled the Celebration Basics Kit (found on page 202) to mix with the stamp set for a great birthday surprise gift set.
Part #1 - Little 3x4 notecard
I used one of the perforated tags from the kit on a Calypso Coral card base. I stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe ink with the Dotty Angles Stamp set. I then stamped in Pool Party ink with the Birthday Surprise Stamp set. After a little cutting out the word, I use dimensionals to pop off the card. I also used the Whisper White Baker's Twine for the bow.

Part #2 - Gift baggie
I took one of the printed goodie bags from the kit and added some colored Calypso Coral tissue paper cut with the fringe scissors. Then I took the Calypso Coral Pompom Trim and cut off just the pompoms to add to the bag front. I punched a 2.5" circle out of the Kraft cardstock. Then I stamped in Pool Party the gift image on Whisper White and punched out with the 2" circle. The "Happy Birthday" From the Herd Stamp set is stamped in Calypso Coral and handcut into a banner.
Part #3 - Cupcake Jar
I took the 2.5" round printed tag from the kit and placed it in the jar lid. Then inked up the cupcake image with Stampin' UP markers in Crushed Curry, Pool Party and Calypso Coral. Punch out with the 2" circle. Add the Pompom Trim around the jar. Here is the fun part: the mini pennant banner around the jar is from the stamp set as well. It is the festive party hat minus the topper. I stamped several in Pool Party and cut out. I used the 1/16th circle punch and the Whisper White Baker's Twine to create the pennant banner.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope this inspires you!!!
