Stampin' UP Artisan Blog Hop - Sparkle and MORE Shine

Welcome to the 2015-2016 Stampin' UP Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!
I am so blessed that I get to create and inspire with these amazing Stampin' UP products and share with you all here for another wonderful year! Remember that every other Thursday, all 20 of us from all over the world will post on our blogs an inspiring project for you! Be sure to get Google Translate so that you can read in your language all about how they created their projects too. Please keep hoppin' thru them all....you do not want to miss anyone of these amazing ladies!
This week is an "open to create" week but to stay within the parameters of goodies from our Artisan box. Plan to see a lot of different design styles with these selective products as you move thru the blog hop! I decided to use the Sparkle and Shine Stamp Set from the Occasions Catalog along with the truly awesome Shine On Specialty Designer Series Paper. The more I use this DSP, the more I love it! Be sure to pick up this gem before the Occasions Catalog ends!
I created two cards very similar in layout but using different paper patterns of the Shine On DSP and greetings from the Sparkle and Shine Stamp Set. I stamped the pattern images (the v's and raindrops) on a piece of cardstock and then punched out with my 2 1/2" Circle Punch for one of the layers. I am loving the Cucumber Crush together with the Watermelon Wonder and Bermuda Bay as well as the pop of Basic Black and Whisper White. Then make sure to make some custom envelopes for these 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" cards with the 2015-2017 In Color Envelope Paper.
Last is a cute gift package made with the Gift Bag Punch Board and the Shine On DSP too! I am loving that Bermuda Bay 1/8" Stitched Ribbon so much, I hope it stays in the new Annual Catalog coming in June!
Thanks for stopping by here and if you leave a comment then thanks for truly making my day!
Inspire. Create. Share. That's what I love to do.

Now on to one of my dearest friends and Artisan Design Team sister for life.....Connie Collins! She will blow your mind and she is the sweetest lady ever! I got to see her last week and it made me so happy!

Stampin' UP Artisan Blog Hop - Shine On Pink

Welcome back to the 2015-2016 Stampin' UP Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!

This week we are showcasing our Artisan projects for the Stampin' UP Facebook Page this month. For this project, the team was to focus on the Shine On Designer Series Paper with the Sunburst Sayings Stamp set  or the Birthday Celebration Stamp set. Plan to see a lot of different design styles with these selective products as you move thru the blog hop!  Since I already used the bright colorful side of this DSP back in January, I wanted to show the silver foil side of the DSP this time.
Balloons are very trendy right now and the Balloon Bouquet Punch is a favorite from the Stampin' UP 2016 Occasions Catalog! Instant balloon shape in two sizes! I punched a few of the larger balloon size out of the Shine On DSP and sponged the edges with Melon Mambo and a sponge dauber. Some of the balloons are stamped with the full balloon image from the Birthday Celebration Stamp set with Blushing Bride Classic Ink. Then I stamped just the Happy Birthday Greeting from the Sunburst Saying Stamp set with Melon Mambo Classic Ink. The strings are from a stamp image in the Birthday Celebration Stamp set too. I used my Project Life Journaling pen to draw continuous lines after I placed the balloons.
These little gems on the pattern from the Shine On DSP called for some coloring! My dear friend Kimberly Van Diepen wrote in a recent comment that "you had me at pink" and pink is all I could think of when it came to coloring them! I used the Blushing Bride and Melon Mambo Classic Ink with the Aqua Painter to color them in. Start lightly and add layers to build up the color. Some of them are also colored with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush in Clear for some bling! (Hard to photo that element) To tone down the pattern a bit, I added a layer of Vellum cardstock with the Banner Framelits. The greeting is from the Sunburst Sayings Stamp Set. I cut one of the gems out of the DSP and added it near the greeting.

I am loving this card to much! I might have to make 19 more of them and send them to my Artisan Design teammates! I think they shine and are simply the best!

Thanks for stopping by here and if you leave a comment
then thanks for truly making my day!

Fancy Friday - Spring Inspiration Bunnies!

Welcome back to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop!
My fancy friends and I are back with some NEW fancy friends too! We loved working with each other so much that we decided to continue on with an all new blog hop to inspire you in fun new ways! Then a few of us had to take a break so we invited some new FANCY friends to join us and make the blog hop a little longer for your enjoyment! These are a group of past and current Artisans that have become fast friends thru the Artisan journey.
Each month on the last Friday, we will bring to you new challenges of all kinds (color, sketch, stamp focus, etc)! This month will be one week early due to the holidays. This month we have some spring inspiration photos to create something from, thanks to our dear friend Marisa!
I don't know if you can see them clearly enough on that photo of the HOP HOP HOP table setting but there are bunnies on there! I have been wanting to create with the bunny image from the Friends and Flowers Stamp set shown below. I have a few more fun projects in the near future with this stamp set too!
To create my bunnies, I used the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Dies. I can get two boxes out of a piece of 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock! I used almost every color of the Subtles cardstock! In color order are Calypso Coral, Blushing Bride, Pink Pirouette, So Saffron, Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky, Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder.
I used the Subtles Stampin' UP Write Markers with Basic Black Write Marker to color the bunny face stamp. I also did this to stamp the ears. You will want to use the Festive Flower Builder Punch (on sale this week til Tuesday!) and the 1 3/8" circle punch to punch them all out!
I attached the ears to the face with adhesive. Use Tear and Tape Adhesive to attach the face to the box. Be sure to place the bunny face on the side that will come off first.

For the bows, I used the Bow Builder Punch and the Color Me Irresistible Specialty Designer Series Paper. I went with the dots and stripes on the patterns. Hard to see but I like the white with the embossing pattern on them.
The tag is Basic Black cardstock cut with oval tag from the Curvy Keepsakes Thinlits Dies. I stamped the greeting from the Circle of Spring Stamp Set in StazOn White Ink. Just use a mini glue dot to adhere to box. I finished the bunny with a white pom pom that I had in my craft stashAdd with a mini glue dot. So cute!

Now to fill them with some Easter candy and give them away!
What candy will I pick? Hmm?

Thanks for stopping by my post for the Fancy Friday blog hop!

Birthdays with the Creation Station Blog Hop

The Creation Station Design and Blog Hop is back this month! I was beyond thrilled to be asked to join this group of talented women for a monthly blog hop to inspire you with creative top of the line projects with a theme from all around the globe! We hope that you hop thru each blog and leave comments as we all love to hear praise about our creations!
This month we were to cover BIRTHDAYS and with this new movement created by Shannon West at Stampin' UP called #iambringingbirthdaysback, I have joined the bandwagon in creating many birthday cards!

(Here is my very own birthday card from Shannon West herself!)
A card for my dear sweet Dad as he turned 69 last month and this is a quote he says each year so I thought it was funny and perfect for him! I used my favorite Number of Years Stamp Set and Large Numbers Framelit Dies with the balloons from the Birthday Celebration Stamp Set.
While I had the Birthday Celebration Stamp Set out, I made a masculine birthday card with the same color combo of Smoky Slate, Tangelo Twist, Basic Black with Very Vanilla.
Then I needed another masculine birthday card, so I changed up the color combo to Hello Honey, Basic Black and Very Vanilla.
But wait, I need one MORE masculine birthday card for my brother Jon, so I made this one! Colors are Pool Party, Hello Honey, Real Red, Basic Black and Very Vanilla. (Many guy birthdays in February!)

And if you are wondering where the "Happy Birthday" greeting is from.....It is from the Saleabration stamp set called Perfect Pairings. You can get it FREE when you purchase $50 of SU product right now thru March 31st! Don't wait too much longer to get it!

Thanks for stopping by my post for the Creations Station Blog Hop!

Stampin' UP Artisan Blog Hop - Celebrating International Scrapbooking Day

Welcome BACK to the 2015-2016 Stampin' UP Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!
This week is an "open to create" week. As team lead (who sometimes comes up with crazy ideas), I asked the ladies if they wanted to do something extra special like focusing on scrapbooking or Project life pages. Everyone was excited to give it a try and be challenged! We also found out that March 4th is International Scrapbooking Day and we are most definitely an International Team that dabbles in scrapbooking! Because it was our "free" week, we could use products from our Artisan boxes of goodies or add anything current as well so you will see alot of ideas with different products!
My all time favorite PL collection is the Moments Like These collection. I love the color combo, the GOLD foil, the sayings, the images, etc. I found this great photo of a moment that I never want to forget. I get a little sentimental when it comes to this girl. She is a Senior this year and I have been wanting to finish her scrapbook before Graduation. (I need a month off work to get this done mind you) I selected some cards from the Moments Like These Card Collection, cut them down to 3x3, added the Gold Glimmer Washi Tape (on Saleabration right now!) and used the Sweetheart Punch. That's it. Simplicity.

I wanted to share with you some pages that I finished recently using the Seasonal Snapshot 2015 Collection. (LOVE THAT ONE TOO) I made a Project Life page on one side and a traditional scrapbook page on the other side using PL cards too. I love the layout so much that I made another page for another memory using the same PL Collection.
We hope that we have inspired you to celebrate International Scrapbooking Day on March 4th! So get out your PL collections, 12x12 cardstock, your pile of photos and get your memories scrapped!

Thanks for stopping by here and if you leave a comment then thanks for truly making my day!

Occasions International Blog Hop

Welcome to our International Stampin' Up! Blog hop! What an honor to be apart of this! You may be just starting here or have come from Bili Cameron. Either way you can make your way around by using the list below so that you don't miss a blog. We have an incredible group of talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who wanted to highlight some of the Occasions Catalog items, remember that Sale-a-Bration is happening at the moment too so you can earn free products! At the moment you are currently in USA and you are about to go around the world to different locations. Using the list below you will be able to hop around all our blogs and be inspired to create with the products. Please feel free to leave comments as we all love to hear from you.

When I fist opened the 2016 Occasions Catalog, I was instantly drawn to everything on page 10 and 11! The bundle shown in this section is the Numbers of Years Stamp set and the Large Numbers Framelits Dies.
Oh how I have been longing for some large numbers and matching dies to cut them out with! (I hope it stays in the new Stampin' UP catalog coming in June 2016!) What I love about this bundle is the versatility of it...Birthday, Anniversary, School Album, etc. But what I also love is that it can go from a kid's card to a card for a woman OR man too! Each project on these pages in the Occasions catalog give inspiration for this bundle and it inspired me to case/create these three cards.
Here is my card for a woman:
Here is my card for a man:
(the stripes on the balloon were made by the banner lines criss-crossed to make a pattern)
Here is my card for a kid:
(the confetti on card layer were made with the 1/4" circle handheld punch)
Thank you for joining me here today!
Be sure to continue on our hop! You do not want to miss any of these amazing blogs! Next up is my sweet friend and fellow Artisan Teammate...the truly AMAZING Krista Frattin
