Seasonal Snapshot 2015 - Stampin' UP Artisan Blog Hop

Welcome back to the Stampin' UP Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! 

We are just finishing on our October 2015 box from Stampin' UP. 

This box was FULL of super fun holiday products 

from the NEW Stampin' UP Holiday Catalog!!!!!  
I am so blessed that I get to create with these amazing products and share with you all here! Remember that every Thursday of each week, all 13 of us from all over the world will post on our blogs an inspiring project for you! Be sure to get Google Translate so that you can read in your language all about how they created their projects too. Now on to first October project....Are you ready to stay awhile and soak in all the Project Life® by Stampin' UP® Seasonal Snapshot 2015 Collection goodness? Everyone on the team this week is using it as well in many different AMAZING ways! 

Here is where I started....Project Life App. Yes, you read that correct. As a lucky iPhone user, I have the App and love it! I downloaded the same Seasonal Snaphot 2015 Collection and created a total of 9 pages from our recent family vacation/visit. You can click on each of them to view larger. I know this is a holiday (School, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas) themed PL Collection but you can see here that I used it for a Fall travel theme! How is that for versatility?

The thing about doing memory keeping on the Project Life App is that you can breeze right thru getting pages done! However, they lack (for me) the freedom to add some creativity into the mix. I love adding a few more layers and little sayings on top of the photos. So here is the challenge....I took the last one above and decided to make it in the real product line of Project Life® by Stampin' UP® Seasonal Snapshot 2015. Can you see how I used the same layout, same photos (printed) and the same cards from the collection but added the wooden elements, a few words and arrow embellishment to take it a step further? Even better, right?

This PL Collection is great for the holidays as well! You can see HERE how I used last year's Seasonal Snapshot for 2014. So you know I had to create more with this year's collection! Here are two fun Halloween pages!


And just one more to be completed! My youngest daughter is going on a field trip next week with her Dad in tow so I thought it would be nice for him to take some photos that I could use on this page. Let's see if he remembers.

I love the Seasonal Snapshot collections and I love that it gets me into memory keeping year after year! I will be making some Thanksgiving and Christmas pages for sure!

Project Life = Moments Like This - Stampin' UP Artisan Blog Hop

Welcome back to the Stampin' UP Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! 

We are just starting on our August 2015 box from Stampin' UP. 

This box was FULL of more BRAND NEW products 

from the Stampin' UP 2015-2016 Annual Catalog!!!!!  Remember that every Thursday of each week, all 14 of us from all over the world will post on our blogs an inspiring project for you! Be sure to get Google Translate so that you can read in your language all about how they created their projects too. Now on to my 2nd project for August... This week we were to use the Project Life® by Stampin' UP® Moments Like This Collection and focus on the versatility of Project Life for even other projects besides memory keeping. Naturally being Stampin' UP and our love for cards, I went that route. Well plus a little bonus project!

The cards are a Kraft cardstock 4x4 card base. I took the 4x4 Project Life® cards from the Moments Like This Collection and cut them down 1/4" on two sides. Then I added embellishments from the Moment Like This Accessory Pack. I love the gold foil ones as well as the gold sequins and gold paper clips! I used each word from the Hello You Thinlits with this project as well. I thought it went well with the script words from the Project Life® Moments Like This Stamp Set. I cannot forget the finishing touch of these....the matching envelopes! I used the Everyday Chic Designer Series Paper and the Envelope Punch Board to make them!  One more favorite thing - the AWESOME color combo! Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron, Basic Black, White and Gold.

And last is my little bonus project....I took the Kraft Gift Bag and one of the 4x6 cards from the Project Life® Moments Like This Card Collection, added a few additional elements that I used on the cards, paired with some Basic Black Baker's Twine. Super easy gift with the cards inside for someone special!

Friday Extra - Project Life Santa Fun!

Way back in September, I helped my friend Monika Davis with her Fall Retreat prepping. We get together and design projects for it. We always have such fun creating together! Monika wanted to do two things - Project Life and take group photos to fill the page with. And from there, we came up with this fun activity for one of the nights. The right side is the page that the participants created at the retreat.

We wanted to show how you could do Project Life so easily with regular Stampin UP products from the holiday catalog. We used the Trim a Tree Designer Series Paper Stack, the Santa Stache Stamp Set, Frosted Sequins, Confetti Stars Punch, Dazzling Diamonds, and All is Calm Washi Tape. That saying come from the Visions of Santa Photopolymer Stamp Set. We thought it was perfect for this amount of silliness! We had so much fun with this!

We had the ladies wear their Christmas PJs one night. We set up a photo op area with a frame, a Santa hat, a white mustache prop and let the cray cray begin! I took the individual photos and made a second page here to fit all the awesome funny photos we took. I just love this! Perhaps you can recreate it for your holiday celebration coming up! Kids AND adults would love it!

Hello December Gift Set - Stampin' UP Artisan Blog Hop

Welcome back to the Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! We are just mid way thru our December box from Stampin' UP. I am so excited to share fun and seasonal projects to inspire you for last minute Christmas projects as the date draws near! Every Thursday of each week for one full year, all 16 of us from all over the world will post on our blogs an inspiring project for you! it's the most wonderful Hello December Project Life® by Stampin UP® Collection! Well to be honest, I made MANY projects! 

 If you have followed me on last year's Artisan Design Team Hop then you know how much I LOVE Project Life® by Stampin UP® for more than just memory keeping! There is so much you can do with these great collections whether you do memory keeping or make cards or gift boxes or more. This complete collection called Hello December is perfect for documenting a Daily December or just a December recap in general. But I wanted MORE! After making all these projects, I still have PLENTY of the collection to do my December scrapbook. That is a work in process as you read this!

Ok,it is a shame that you get only one of these bohek cards in the Accessory Pack! I used other patterns of 3x4 cards to make my flags. Those sequins are so fancy and sparkle like crazy! I just added the washi tape to a Whisper White envelope. 

 These boxes may be my favorite creations of all time! Both are so different in design. The washi tape from the PL Hello December Accessory Pack is one I think should be sold by the single roll! I LOVE IT! I taped the one box so you could still open the box without ripping the tape. Using several glue dots with the sequins to make a splash of glitter on the top. The other box, uses Paper Doilies to cover the top. I used the Note Tag Punch with a 3x4 card from the collection to make my gift tag. A piece of washi tape holds it down. That Lost Lagoon 3/8" Silky Taffeta Ribbon is so soft to make a perfect bow!

Sometimes when I open a PL collection pack of cards, I immediately want to pull cards that have great quotes and frame them! So this time, I did! I had this perfect holiday quote card pulled to the side. I had the inexpensive black frame with something else in it. I added the washi tape directly to the frame for some pattern to tie in with my theme here. I just added the 4x6 card with dimensionals after I added some flags, as well as a star and sequins from the PL collection. I had these small white pom poms for another home decor project leftover so I strung them on a piece of White Baker's Twine. I have to add that you can get the Hello December Project Life download # 138090 in MDS to make more of these 4x6 cards if you need to make more frames for gifts!

Just fill the boxes with candies and chocolates and it is a perfect 

little gift set for someone special!

Bright Christmas - MDS Blog Hop

WELCOME TO THE MDS BLOG HOP!

A bunch of us have joined together to share our passion for digital designing with Stampin' UP's My Digital Studio.  These ladies are SERIOUSLY talented in MDS and I am thrilled to be on this Blog Hop with them! You will find us blog hopping on the 2nd and 4th THURSDAYS of each month! We are a little early this month due to the holidays! 

Inspired by colored chalkboard Christmas cards, here is what I came up with to capture one of our favorite things to do! The tree is from Jingle and Joy download and it has red star and ornaments but I changed it to match my "merry and bright" theme. I have to say that the coloring tool is SUCH fun to use on the stamp images. It is the "artist" in me! I also love the re-coloring tool on embellishments. I took Sara's Sequins download and re-colored a few of them for the ornaments on the tree.

Digital Project Life MY WAY - MDS Blog Hop

Believe me, she knows her MDS!

For the MDS Blog Hop this time, we are sharing PROJECT LIFE DIGITALLY! Come check out each of us and what we bring to the digital PL world!

Well there was some talk about MDS moving towards Project Life printed cards, however this has been delayed unfortunately. (insert frown face here) SOOOO......

I decided to make my OWN! I created a 8.5x11 page and filled Happy Things Pocket Cards punch with Designer Series Paper from the Grateful Heart Thanksgiving download. Then I just took some of the stamp images and more punches from that same download to finish my designs on the cards. I printed this page on my home printer with Whisper White cardstock.

Can you see the possibilities with this idea? You can use ANY download kit or ensemble with this! I definitely plan to use it again and again and again. Maybe MDS will get on board with printing cards soon and my life will be Project Life PERFECTION!

I cut them out and rounded the corners with my Project Life corner punch. So simple, right? I like simple scrapbooking memory keeping! I need to finish some journaling on this as well. Perhaps a quote about grandparents!

I did add some "hybrid" quality to my page with Early Espresso Baker's Twine, Pool Party and Peach Parfait (retired color-but I always save scraps for this type of occasion as you know MDS NEVER retires....not yet) cardstock cut with the Fun Fall Framelits Dies. I just threw them in the pouch on the photo. FUN!
