Get Well with the Creation Station Blog Hop

The Creation Station Design and Blog Hop is back this month! I was beyond thrilled to be asked to join this group of talented women for a monthly blog hop to inspire you with creative top of the line projects with a theme from all around the globe! We hope that you hop thru each blog and leave comments as we all love to hear praise about our creations!

This month our theme was "Get Well" which lately I have been needing in abundance. Well once I got started then I could not stop, so continue on and see what I came up with!
Some of my favorite things on this card:
The water colored dotted pattern paper from the Fruit Stand DSP in Flirty Flamingo.
The striped Watermelon Wonder washi tape from the Affectionately Yours Designer Washi TapeThe Sunshine Sayings Bundle where I used the Sunshine Sayings Stamp Set and greeting word from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Die Cut in Peekaboo Peach Ink on 2" circle punch of Whisper White Cardstock. Then added the three butterflies in Watermelon Wonder Cardstock and finished with the Solid Baker's Twine and Metallic Sequins in in Basic Black.
Some of my favorite things on this card:
The Thoughtful Branches Bundle is clearly a winner! Have you seen all the samples out there? Why not one more? The flower blooms are die cut out of Whisper White Cardstock. I then cut the stem with leaves out of Pear Pizzazz Cardstock and sponged with Always Artichoke Ink. I also stamped the leaves stamp on the Sahara Sand Cardstock card base. I added the strip of Serene Scenery DSP to the one side. The greeting comes from Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set and stamped in Bermuda Bay Ink. For a punch of bright color, I added the Crushed Curry enamel heart shape and the Crushed Curry Baker's Twine.
Some of my favorite things on this card:
The poor doggie...created with the Fox Builder Punch and Soft Suede Cardstock, I just adore him. His ears are made from one of the parts in the punch. Then I punch Vellum Cardstock with the 2" Circle Punch. Ah yes, the cone of shame! LOL Another image from the Foxy Friends Stamp Set is the quote bubble with hearts that I stamped on and with Watermelon Wonder. The raindrop pattern background is from the A Little Foxy DSP Stack. The best part is the Labeler Alphabet Photopolymer Stamp Set! You could make up any greetings you want! The Solid Whisper White Baker's Twine completes the card.
Some of my favorite things on this card:
This card is too funny! My friend Susan said it looked like a muppet character and then I began to think it might start talking to me! I used the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Dies with Emerald Envy cardstock, Watermelon Wonder Cardstock and Basic Black Cardstock. You cut just a part of the largest scribble to get the frowning mouth. I stamped the Here for You Stamp Set in both colors and placed both on the front of the card. To finish, embossed the Smoky Slate Cardstock with the Polka Dot TIEF and add Basic Black Baker's Twine.

So there you have it! Four very different Get Well cards!
Thanks for stopping by my post for the Creations Station Blog Hop!

Stampin' UP Artisan Blog Hop - Touch of Texture to Get Well

Welcome BACK to the 2015-2016 Stampin' UP Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!
I am so blessed that I get to create and inspire with these amazing Stampin' UP products and share with you all here for another wonderful year! Remember that every other Thursday, all 20 of us from all over the world will post on our blogs an inspiring project for you! Be sure to get Google Translate so that you can read in your language all about how they created their projects too. Please keep hoppin' thru them all....you do not want to miss anyone of these amazing ladies!

This week is an "open to create" week but to stay within the parameters of goodies from our Artisan box. I chose to use the beautiful Touches of Texture Stamp Set. It is a stamp set that I would not normally purchase. I was nervous and questioned where to begin so I just started stamping with the line art of the flowers.
If you follow our Artisan Blog Hop often, you will see that we are missing a team member this week. Inge Groot has been under the weather so I wanted to send her a get well card to cheer her up and just let her know I was thinking of her. This was the inspiration for my project this week - get well. Not sure I will send the mason jar all the way to the Netherlands but the card will definitely make it!
The Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack has to probably be one of my most favorite DSP packs. I am in love with this Pool Party woodgrain pattern! The Touches of Textures Stamp set has the splatter image to color in the flowers. I just stamped with Crushed Curry Ink several times to color them in. So easy! I stamped the mixed alphabet letters image in Pool Party Ink for a layer. My favorite image in this stamp set is the splatter! Oh my good goodie goodness, it's perfect! I stamped it here with Crumb Cake Ink. I had to add the bee image from this stamp set as well because it plays on the "honey" in the gift jar so well. The ribbon is just a piece of the 5/8"  Burlap Ribbon and those new Delicate White Doilies adds a nice vintage touch. What is so great about this card is the Labeler Alphabet Photopolymer Stamp Set! You can make ANY greetings with this stamp set for this card. Even GET WELL!
And then came the matching tag....I took the large flower image from the Touch of Texture stamp set and stamped with Basic Black Archival Ink on Whisper White Cardstock. Then take Crushed Curry Ink and stamp the inside color image just three times while rotating it. I punched this out with the 2" Circle. Again the Labeler Alphabet Photopolymer Stamp Set is used to create the greeting on the tag. Just stamp closely together, hand cut out and use Stampin Dimensionals to add it to tag (or card). The 5/8" Burlap Ribbon makes a nice textured bow for the mason jar.
For you Mason Jar gift giving lovers, my Get Well Jar contains a bottle of honey, tea packets and a lemon. You could throw in a tissue packet, chap stick and a few candies for sore throats too! Perfect gift to cheer up anyone battling a cold or the flu!!!
Thanks for stopping by here and if you leave a comment then thanks for truly making my day!

Stampin' UP Artisan Blog Hop - More Thoughtful Branches

Welcome to the 2015-2016 Stampin' UP Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!
We have an extra special blog hop for you today! We are introducing you some more samples with Stampin' Up's newest product bundle called Thoughtful Branches. Remember our first blog hop last month? Go HERE! Be sure to get Google Translate so that you can read in your language all about how they created their projects too. Please keep hoppin' thru them all....you do not want to miss any single one of these amazing samples!

Get the Limited Time Thoughtful Branches bundle before its gone! Available today August 2 thru August 31st only! If you earned in any coupons during the July Bonus days promotion, the Thoughtful Branches is a great choice to use it on!

For these projects, I focused on creating a scenery settings with this Thoughtful Branches Stamp Set and Beautiful Branches Thinlits. It's very easy to do with this bundle!
On the first card, I used the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with the bare tree images. To get the same Kraft color of the Kraft Cardstock, I used Soft Suede Ink stamped off once. The birds are stamped with Watermelon Wonder Ink for a pop of colors on this serene color theme. I added the FRIEND from Thoughtful Banners Photopolymer Stamp Set in Soft Suede. The THANK YOU greeting from the bundle was stamped in Mint Macaron Ink. This would be an easy card for beginners with lots of layers for easy assembly with a wow factor.
My next card is probably my favorite of the bunch! I had this in my head and it took me about 5 times to get the placement of each colored tree perfect. I would stamp the bare branch image first and then overlay with the foliage image. I used Smoky Slate Ink, Pool Party Ink, Mint Macaron Ink and Garden Green Ink on the trees. I just love this greeting from the bundle! I stamped it in Garden Green on Mint Macaron Cardstock and cut with the Layering Circles Framelits Dies. I added this on a Kraft cardstock base and the matching 5/8" Burlap Ribbon. Perfect for the intermediate stamper who wants a challenge in placing those trees in order!
For the last card, I was inspired by Stampin' UP's CEO Sara Douglass's LIVE Facebook video were she demonstrated a watercolor technique with this bundle. This was a more challenging card to create! I taped off the edges with spare washi tape to create the border around the Watercolor Paper. Then I would wet the area of the watercolor paper, ink up the stamp image and stamp. It would spread and then I would dry with my Heat Tool a bit. Moving to the next area and repeating the process. I used Garden Green Ink on the grass, Soft Suede Ink on the tree trunk, Delightful Dijon Ink on the tree leaves and Pool Party Ink with Mint Macaron Ink for the sky. This card is definitely for the advanced stamper but it is so fun! Branch out and try! (no pun intended)
This blog hop gave you 20+ more samples using this Thoughtful Branches Bundle

Fancy Friday - Sunshine Sayings Bundle

Welcome back to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop!
My fancy friends and I are creating together again! These are a group of past and current Artisans that have become fast friends thru the Artisan journey.  Each month on the last Friday, we will bring to you new challenges of all kinds (color, sketch, stamp focus, etc)!
This month we were to pick a bundle from the Stampin' UP Annual Catalog to showcase! Did you know there are over 15 new bundles in there? I picked the Sunshine Sayings bundle from page 97. It includes the Sunshine Sayings Stamp Set and the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies. Immediately, this bundle caught my eye when I took my first look at the catalog back in June.
I mixed it with the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper (which is becoming a favorite DSP for me) and the color combo of Old Olive, Bermuda Bay and Calypso Coral.
With one piece of the 6 x 6 DSP, I was able to make a card and matching gift tag. The photo below shows the how you cut the 6 x 6 to achieve this. You probably could use many of the patterns from this stack in the same card layout. Maybe use the different words and greetings from the stamp set with different patterns of the paper and you have a card or club class. Everyone needs a matching card and gift tag to have on hand!
Here is the tag. Simple and easy to create. Just turn the paper over to reveal the pattern side. This will look great hanging from a kraft gift bag or our Petite Cafe Gift Bags.

Thanks for stopping by my post for the Fancy Friday blog hop!

Stampin' UP Artisan Blog Hop - Christmas in July

Welcome back to the 2015-2016 Stampin' UP Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!
I am so blessed that I get to create and inspire with these amazing Stampin' UP products and share with you all here!
(Thank you all for the overwhelming response to our Artisan blog hop for the Thoughtful Branches Introduction!!! We were on cloud nine all day!!!)

This week we are showcasing our Artisan projects for the Stampin' UP Facebook Page this month. For this project, the team was to focus on "Christmas in July" using the Peace for Christmas Stamp Set and the This Christmas Designer Series Specialty Paper. Many papercrafters actually start making their numerous Christmas cards in the summer and for this reason, our team was given the task to showcase these amazing new products from the Stampin' UP Annual Catalog. It is a great idea to get them done before the mad rush of the holidays, so come get inspired!
Here is my main card design. Just 4 simple layers. I mixed the Peace for Christmas Stamp set with the Gold Metallic Foil Doilies, the Gold 1/4" Natural Trim Ribbon and the Holly Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. To get the different colored greenery, just stamp twice with Garden Green Classic Ink Pad to get a bold and then light color. I stamped the greeting first, next the greenery and then line up your Lots of Labels Framelit Dies and roll thru the Big Shot.
Then I took this lovely pattern from the This Christmas Designer Series Specialty Paper and made a custom envelope with the Envelope Punch Board. My flipgram shows how it works. I punched two holes near the point with the 1/8" circle handheld punch first. Then attach a length of the trim with glue dots to the bottom. Pull ribbon thru the holes and make a bow. Add your tag to complete your envelope gift package. You could add a giftcard inside the card and place in this envelope for an extra special Christmas surprise!
Here are some more card ideas using these same products. Don't forget to dress up those envelopes too! Just add a strip of the DSP and trim to the shape of the flap.

I must say this Christmas Designer Series Paper is fantastic! You get 4 sheets of each pattern and that is perfect to mass produce several Christmas cards. Be sure to order soon!

Thanks for stopping by here and if you leave a comment then thanks for truly making my day!

I selected a soft color combo of Pool Party, Tip Top Taupe, Old Olive and Flirty Flamingo with Whisper White for my projects. The first card showcases the tree leaves stamp image that is die cut with the Beautiful Branches thinlits on the Big Shot. Lining these up is super easy! I added Stampin' Dimensionals to the back and popped this layer up for a 3D effect. Under this layer is the tree branches thinlit. I added the grass image stamp in Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz. See the bird? It is a stamp image with a thinlit to cut it out! So cute!
My next card showcases the tree leaves stamp image in a beautiful hydrangea bloom instead. It's so pretty! There are actually two of these here layered on top of each other with more 3D effect happening with Stampin' Dimensionals. The stem thinlits is added with for the finishing touch. I love the Happy Heart Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on the background and it plays with the greeting on the card. I cut a few of the blooms/leaves and added them to the banner flag.

Garden Gifts with the Creation Station Blog Hop

The Creation Station Design and Blog Hop is back this month! I was beyond thrilled to be asked to join this group of talented women for a monthly blog hop to inspire you with creative top of the line projects with a theme from all around the globe! We hope that you hop thru each blog and leave comments as we all love to hear praise about our creations!

This month we were given a theme: Gifts from the Garden
You may be looking at my projects and think....is she crazy? This is garden theme? Well, I had all intentions to make a beautiful floral card inspired by a photo I saw.....but this cute bugger of a punch and this A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper Stack had me at....ADORABLE! I will also add that my friend Susan Wong did not help matters when I saw this frame and card! So please forgive me and enjoy the cuteness! (there are garden mushrooms and flowers in there so that counts, right? LOL)
I combined the Scenic Sayings Stamp Set with A Little Foxy Suite products shown on page 56 and 57 in the Stampin' Up catalog. I am loving those cute mushrooms and the Calypso Coral fox peeking out from behind the greeting stamp image!
Super simple card here with a birdy made from the Fox Builder Punch too. Stampin' Up inspired so course. I just made mine have a body and sitting on a wire, I mean a piece of Calyspo Coral Thick Baker's Twine.
This one is my favorite! Isn't he adorable sitting in the flowers? Speaking of flowers, those were punched from the Blossom Bunch Punch. The "you" is from Scenic Sayings Stamp Set and the "just stink" is from the cheeky Here for You Stamp Set. You could write on the inside....I missed seeing you at the last get together.....OR but I love you so much.....
So while this is not Garden Theme like many of my AMAZING teammates on the Creation Station Design Team have done, I hope you have enjoyed my creations for you this month.

Thanks for stopping by my post for the Creations Station Blog Hop!
