Fancy Friday - Valentine's Blues

Welcome back to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop!
My fancy friends and I are back with some NEW fancy friends too! We loved working with each other so much that we decided to continue on with an all new blog hop to inspire you in fun new ways! Then a few of us had to take a break so we invited some new FANCY friends to join us and make the blog hop a little longer for your enjoyment! These are a group of past and current Stampin' UP Artisans that have become fast friends thru the Stampin' UP Artisan journey.
Each month on the last Friday, we will bring to you new challenges of all kinds (color, sketch, stamp focus, etc)! This month we are getting fancy with an all new challenge! How about a NO Red and Pink Valentine's Challenge? Oh man! Seriously? THIS is going to be a challenge for sure! Don't miss what everyone came up with!!!

I went right to thinking about "Blue Valentine" or the "Valentine Blues". I started searching thru my stamp collection and found a new set that I have not used since November at the big Stampin' UP Onstage event in Tampa. It is called Happy Home and you can find it in the new Occasions Catalog on page 21. One stamp image and greeting from this set in particular conveys the "blues" so it worked perfectly for my non-pink or red but blue and sad Valentine's.
Some of my favorite things on this card:
*The Happy Heart Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on Pool Party cardstock.
*Punched hearts of the Everyday Chic DSP placed all over in the heart embossed areas.
*Ink and Blender Pen on the stamped image for the watercolor effect.
*The Calypso Coral heart balloon instead of the kite.
*That Basic Black 3/8" Satin Striped Ribbon!

So what do you think about my non-Red or Pink Valentine?
I will be sending this card to a love one that I have not seen in quite awhile. I do miss them!

Thanks for stopping by my post for the Fancy Friday blog hop!

Picture Perfect - Stampin' UP Artisan Blog Hop

Welcome BACK to the 2015-2016 Stampin' UP Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!
I am so blessed that I get to create and inspire with these amazing Stampin' UP products and share with you all here for another wonderful year! Remember that every other Thursday, all 20 of us from all over the world will post on our blogs an inspiring project for you! Be sure to get Google Translate so that you can read in your language all about how they created their projects too. Please keep hoppin' thru them all....you do not want to miss anyone of these amazing ladies!

This week we are showcasing our Artisan projects for the Stampin' UP Facebook Page this month. For this project, the team was to focus on the Love Blossoms DSP Stack #140548, either the First Sight Stamp Set #140685 or Picture Perfect Stamp Set #140520 with a few extra accessories from the Love Blossoms Suite. Plan to see a lot of different design styles with these selective products as you move thru the blog hop!
I choose to work with the Picture Perfect Stamp Set which is a 18 photopolymer stamp set perfect for multi-step layering of the same image. To be honest, using the set was a little trial and error to begin with but once I got use to the placement, I found myself liking the set more and more. Tip start from the catalog: First turn them in the same direction, then stamp in numerical order (which is key tip).
You can play around with several color combinations for all of the images. My roses were a blend of the Blushing Bride and Pink Pirouette while the starfish was So Saffron and Delightful Dijon. I also wanted to share the softer patterns of the Love Blossoms DSP Stack and they became my background layer that you can stamp right of them. The greetings in this stamp set are excellant for all occassions too!

Thanks for stopping by here and if you leave a comment
then thanks for truly making my day!

My Favorite Occasion with Creation Station Blog Hop

The Creation Station Design and Blog Hop is back this month! I was beyond thrilled to be asked to join this group of talented women for a monthly blog hop to inspire you with creative top of the line projects with a theme from all around the globe! We hope that you hop thru each blog and leave comments as we all love to hear praise about our creations!
This month we were to cover our favorite products from the Occasions Catalog coming out January 5th! Being a Stampin' UP demonstrator has its perks and getting products before offered to the public is one of them!  A New Year's goal is to ACTUALLY send the cards I make especially for the best occasion.....BIRTHDAYS!

My Favorite Occasions Catalog item is.......
The Large Numbers Framelits! These are my most favorite item in the WHOLE Occasions catalog! YOU MUST GET THEM! So much you can do with them! As soon as I saw them, several design ideas came into my head. This was one of them. I laid out the card base on my Magnetic Platform and add the framelits as I liked. Then I added a piece of the Birthday Bouquet DSP and a small piece of the Watermelon Wonder behind it. I used my Tomboy glue to adhere. The matching stamp set called Number of Years has the greatest greetings in it. It can be used for Birthdays, Anniversaries, School Grade scrapbooking pages, Calendar Home Decor and more!
And just to be totally complete on this card, I did the inside (gasp! I know!) and added a greeting and small matching bow. I even added the DSP on the envelope flap!
Now just to send this off to my niece before her big day this month!
Thanks for stopping by my post for the Creations Station Blog Hop!
