MDS Blog Hop - Last Minute Valentine Treats

Welcome back to the MDS Blog Hop! What a SUPER LONG 3 weeks that was!
But we are all here with some great projects full of LOVE just in time for the big day tomorrow!
So Sunday night, my youngest daughter and I were chatting about what she wanted to do for her LAST year in elementary school Valentine treats for the class - "you know that they do not do that anymore in middle school" she told me. :(  We immediately went on Pinterest and she found the perfect little treat with her favorite candy. I knew right away that I could so make that in MDS2!
To create in MDS2 - I added a square punch at 2 3/4" x 4" which made a perfect insert for the clear bags I had on hand to a custom 8.5x11 page for a "template". Next add the jar from the Perfectly Preserved Stamp Brush Set # 129834 and size to fit the punch.
Now add your wording to complete them. I did a Global search for the Valentine saying while the LOVE BUG is just a text box. Copy the whole thing and paste 5 more on the page. Remove the punch and save as a jpeg. You can right click on the photo template above and save as a jpeg if you have the same size bags! Then simply print as you would a photo on your computer/printer. They each measure 2.75" x 4" on this 8.5x11 page.
Last night, we collected what we needed and started to assemble 28 of them. You will need a 1 3/4" circle punch or a wide oval punch would work too. I picked up the sour worms at Publix - 3 for $5.00. Printed the sheets on whisper white cardstock. Cut them with my Stampin Trimmer. She handwrote their names on the front and her name on the back.  Inserted them and 6-7 sour worms i the bag. To close the top, I simply folded over a flap and stapled them.
Call it DONE! Ready to go for tomorrow! Ok, so you have a quick solution to your last minute classmates', co-workers', neighbors', friends' treats! Better get busy!
