Disney Tip Thursday

I was searching for today's tip post and came across the new Treehouse Villas at Saratoga Springs Resort information. The additional resort area for SSR will open on Monday, June 1st. After reading this blog post here:http://land.allears.net/blogs/jackspence/2009/05/treehouse_villas_at_saratoga_s_1.html I am having second thoughts about changing our reservation in September to there! Check it out! They have updated flat screen TV's and updated modern looking kitchen. I also like the treehouse feeling of it! It turns out that they do have a pool over there and a walkway to get back over to the main resort area. We own DVC thru SSR so we in a sense also own at the Treehouse Villas! BONUS! We can book 11 months out instead of 7 months out at Treehouse Villas. BONUS! So now I might have to call and see if that week in September is available. (fingers crossed) Howard and I also have talked about selling some DVC points for a week trip to SSR. We are looking at $11-12 per point which is cheap for Disney luxury resort standards. Points depend on when you are going and how big a room you need. Example: a studio room for 4 on a Sunday - Saturday in September would be 75 points. If you are interested, let me know via email!
