Crafty Carrot Co Blog Hop with Barn Door

Hello friends and welcome to The Crafty Carrot Collective Blog Hop! We are a selection of group of Stampin' UP! demonstrators and Artisans from all over the world that got together to form this interactive program where you can learn and participate with us each month!
So let us get right to this month's Crafty Carrot Co blog hop where we share some projects featuring the Barn Door Stamp set for our May 2018 interactive rewards program. It has matching Sliding Door Thinlits to make the Barn Door actually slide! But with my card here, it only gives the allusion that the door slides.
Couple of things to point out on this card:
I used the score blade on my trimmer to make the "shiplap" wood planks on the Soft Sky cardstock. I stamped the barn door image directly on the white grain pattern in the Wood Textures DSP stack. I cut up another pattern from Wood Texture DSP to make the wood layer behind the door. I used the Petals and More Thinlits from our April Program for the greenery on the wreath. I fussy cut out the word Blessings from the sentiment in the stamp set. The color palette was inspired from the pattern DSP shown on envelope in the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP.

Are you inspired yet to join us? Promise that it is going to be educational and informational but so stinking FUN! Great for customers AND current Stampin' UP! demonstrators! You can get lots of ideas for your classes at a small price and less time designing!

I'd like to see what you have behind the barn door and what sentiment you used on the inside of the card. I love some of the sentiments that SU! has, but find it hard to find a saying for the inside of the card to go with them. Thanks!
